About the Southern Illinois Roller Gremlins

The Southern Illinois Roller Gremlins have been an important part of the region’s sports community since 2009. Originally established as the Southern Illinois Roller Girls, the organization became a full member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in 2012 before evolving into the inclusive Southern Illinois Roller Gremlins in 2023.

Today, the league welcomes skaters from across Southern Illinois who share a passion for competition, teamwork, and community involvement. Throughout the year, the Gremlins host bouts, recruit new skaters and officials, and participate in community events while continuing to grow the sport throughout the region.

Their dedication has helped create one of Southern Illinois’ most exciting local sports organizations.
