About The Pavilion

Your Premier Event Venue

The City of Marion owns and operates The Pavilion, a premier facility offering an ideal event venue for meetings, markets, parties, and gatherings in Southern Illinois. Conveniently located at 1602 Sioux Drive in Marion, The Pavilion event venue is set on a picturesque 12-acre lake and spans 50 acres, just off Williamson County Parkway. At approximately 40,000 square feet, the building provides versatile banquet and convention space for rent, including an Expo Hall and three separate banquet rooms to meet a variety of needs.

Parking

The main parking lot for the event venue offers 313 regular spaces and 12 handicap-accessible spaces, with an auxiliary parking lot that can accommodate another 120 vehicles—perfect for hosting large trade shows and conventions. The Pavilion’s flexible spaces can be customized to suit your specific requirements, making it a top choice for any event.

We prioritize maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for our staff and the community. Our goal is to deliver clean, accessible, and adaptable event venue facilities with personal and professional service tailored to each client’s needs.

Big or Small

The Pavilion event venue offers three individual meeting rooms, each totaling just under 2,000 square feet and measuring 38′ x 51′. These rooms can be used separately or combined into one large space. For grand events, the ballroom spans approximately 6,000 square feet, complete with a 25′ x 25′ dance floor. The Exposition Hall, featuring 170′ x 200′ of space and 30-foot ceilings, is equipped with a trade show electrical floor, wall outlets, 1,200 amps of power, and full climate control to ensure a seamless event experience.
